We went over the homework for a bit, problems with integration. The main issue was more with the negative exponents and some of the algebra involved in the problems. Sometimes in an integration problem, doing some rewriting and/or algebra makes the problem easier to approach.
The method suggested by the book is rewrite, integrate, simplify.
Talked about why radical notation to the 1/4 power, 1/3 power, etc is often very limited in its usefulness. Usually fractionally exponents are more practical.
