We mostly went over problems with limit.
For the types of functions we usually see, if you approach a spot from the left and from the right, the two approaches end up at the same place.
When functions have the possibility of dividing by zero, sometimes there is a hole created. But the function can still go toward the same spot from the left and right.
If a function goes towards the same spot from the left and right, there is said to be a limit at that point. If it goes towards one place from the left and another from the right, the limit doesn’t exist.
